The Recovery Process

The Audit

Our research staff routinely audits government agency records across the United States to uncover excess proceeds funds on deposit from tax and mortgage foreclosure sales. Once found, great efforts are expended to locate and reach out to the rightful owner(s) of these funds to let them know what we found and to offer our assistance in filing claims to recover the funds for them.

Call Us

If you have received a letter, phone call, text message or email from us, it means that we have good reason to believe that the rightful owner of some of the money is YOU!

All you need to do is contact us at (614) 877-8417. We will answer any questions you may have and with your permission we start the claim filing process on your behalf.

Paperwork

Once you have agreed to let us handle your claim, we will send you the paperwork needed to recover your money. The paperwork will need to be signed and notarized, which you can have done at your local bank or notary. If that is not available, as a last resort, we can arrange for a virtual or mobile notary.

Then just send everything back along with any supporting documents that may be needed.

Waiting Time!

Once we receive your paperwork, you can sit back and let us handle everything else. Claims generally take about 3-4 months to be processed. However, this can depend on a variety of factors. Regardless, we will keep you informed about the progress of your claim all the way through, and once complete, we’ll let you know when your check is ready and on it’s way to you.

Act Fast to Recover These Funds Before the Deadline Expires!

Once you've been notified that there is money waiting for you, it is best not to wait to claim it because these funds are generally only held for a short period of time. After that time expires, the state or county government gets to lawfully keep your money and use it however they want leaving you out in the cold. So, to avoid this happening and to get your claim filed quickly, we do all the work for you from start to finish.

Another thing to remember is that we always work on a “Contingency” basis. That means there are no upfront fees and we only charge a fee if and when we are successful in getting your funds to you.

All costs and fees, including attorney’s fees, are paid from our company’s percentage of the reclaimed money, with the client getting the largest share.

If the claim is unsuccessful (very rare), you owe us nothing. Our services are totally risk free.
